About Writer: Herman Hesse was a German-Swiss poet, novelist, and painter. In 1946, he won the Nobel Prize in Literature. In 1964, Calvar Herman-Hesse-Prisice was established, which was given to the translator of Hesse’s work for German language literary magazine or foreign language every two years. A Harmon Hesse Prize is also associated with the city of Karlsruhe, Germany.
